Girl Rising - Wadley in Haiti

This is her quote that she wrote "I will come back everyday until i can stay" 

Wadley was only 7 years old when the Haiti earthquake came. It had destroyed her home and her school. Haiti is near Miami. There was a huge earthqquake in 2010 that had destroyed most of Haiti. There was not much if a food supplies. Wadley Story won the Academy Award. Now Wadley is back in school learning. 

Polar Vortex Mini Research (Sean 7B)

In the USA and Canada there is this thing going around called the Polar Vortex. it has been very cold in those country's. It has at  -30. That is a all time world record. Russia and Europe have been getting more warmer. They have been getting this snow storm and strong winds after New Years. It is so bad that they had to stop planes from going any where. The airplanes are not allowed to fly now because it will be very dangerous and risky. They also had to stop the trains. It is also causing global warming. This is mainly happening in New York.
