Bag It Reflection 1

There are a lot of bags in this world. More than you thing.Plastic bags are made from fossil fuel, which relates to our debate. When fossil fuel is gone its gone. Lots of places in the world are trying to to reduce the use of plastic bags. In class we learn to recycle and reduce so it relates to earth science. When you let go of a plastic bag and let it go in the air it will go to some ocean and kill the marine animals. That relates to our science job careers. The oceanographer need to take care of the ocean and will know a lot about it.

- We do everything with energy

-There are 2 types of energy 

- Stored Energy= the food energy the one you eat know as potential energy 

- Working Energy= kinetic energy when you do an action like jumping 

How is Energy Generated 

-3 Example (there are a lot thou)

-Coal= Coal is created by electricity consumed by USA. Most coal is reserved in USA. Recover Oil 

- Water= Generated electricity. Now it is good energy source

-  Biomass Energy= this is a home grown energy source including trees,farm land etc.

How does Carolina get Energy 

- Flows by electrical power or charge 

- primary source is used to make energy coal,natural gas,oil etc.

-It could be renewable and nonrenewable 

Why is energy important?

-save money

-help environment

-power plants 

-Mostly to save money 

Safety

-Using Electricity can be dangerous sometimes 

- To not put things that are not suppose to be in the plug in there 

- Do not get it wet 

-Do not touch electrical wires and stuff
